Paradise beaches and a drive through a rain forest. Today, was our first stop after a long 9 days at sea. We sailed three days , before stopping in Funchial, Madeira, followed by six more sea days.
To see the Caribbean Island ahead of us as we sailed in, was magical and exciting. By now I was ready to get onto some dry land.

We docked in a very picturesque part of the Island and the welcoming sounds of reggae music were booming out of the bars as we strolled along the walk way.
Of course, out came the selfie stick to remember the moment, but the sun was shining, there was wifi in the bars, so at last I could connect with home.
